Fantasy Non-League Update – January 16, 2021

Welcome to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2020/21. Today’s update covers the period Sunday 10th January 2021 through to Saturday 16th January 2021.

The main 2020/21 FNL table is now starting to close up. With only a small number of games being played there aren’t a great deal of points up for grabs. OIL BEEF HOOKED is still leading the way with 5,661pts but this week they only picked up 81pts. As you can see below our top points scorer this week only gained 174pts. In second place and 62pts behind our leader is HARRISON WBA and then in third 71pts behind top spot is CHASING SHADOWS. The ten top ten is covered by 287pts.

At the bottom it is a little more stretched. DEEJAY LOSERS are still bottom with -782pts and they are 173pts adrift from next to bottom BACK OF THE NET. The bottom ten is covered by 510pts.

Below is another look at the details on how to make your substitutions.

So, you can send in your substitution choices during the month of January 2021 and then your choices will be activated at midnight on Sunday 31st January 2021. You can swap up to three teams and those three teams must have been included on your entry form back at the start of the competition. Your changes do not have to be like for like as far as the leagues are concerned. For example, you can remove a National League side and replace them with a team from The Mixture if you so wish. So, if you are new to FNL this season this is how the subs work. If you remove Dover Athletic from your team and replace them with say Dartford. All the points Dover have scored up to midnight on Sunday 31st January 2021 are frozen in your team calculations and then every point Dartford score from the 1st of February 2021 up to the end of the season become part of your main score.

Please Note: You can change your Jokers, but if you do this it will count as one of your substitutions.

So, after reading this you are sat there thinking why I should bother to change anything when I am sat in 823rd in the main FNL table. Well, a good reason could be if you make the right changes you could pick up a FNL Manager of the Month award in the second part of the season!! Also, remember that you can pick up £50 for finishing bottom each month. So, if you are nearer the bottom then the top then make some changes that might give you the chance of finishing bottom.

Please don’t send any of your changes to the paper as they might not reach me in time.
