IN this week’s update, and for the next few weeks, we will be going through which were the most and least popular teams selected from each of the leagues, starting with the Vanarama Premier and North.

IN this week’s update, and for the next few weeks, we will be going through which were the most and least popular teams selected from each of the leagues, starting with the Vanarama Premier and North.

Bristol Rovers were the most popular team from Section One of the top-flight sides with 735 of you picking them.

Grimsby Town topped Section Two in 599 selections, while Wrexham reeled in 639 picks in Section Three. Bottom of the pile is Southport with just 51 of you picking them.

In Vanarama North, Barrow were the favourite team from Section One with 621 picking them, while 646 picks made Guiseley the most popular pick from Section Two.

A massive 852 people picked North Ferriby United in Section Three, with the least popular club being Gainsborough Trinity with just 42 of you picking them.

Next week we will look at the Vanarama South and the Evo-Stik Northern Premier.

Today’s update covers the seven days between Sunday October 5 to Saturday October 11.

The top three teams leading the October Manager of the Month are: 1 Hectors Hotspurs 906pts (407th); 2 The Pilgrim 896pts (759th), 3= Daventry Pirates (205th) and Glory Boys (875th) 895pts.
