Fantasy Non-League Update May 1

TODAY’S update covers the seven-day period between Sunday 17th April 2016 through to Saturday 23rd April 2016.

First of all, this week I need to mention something I left out of last week’s update. As I am sure you will remember last week’s update was all about the details of how this season FNL competition will finish.

I failed to mention that End of Season bonuses will be awarded to teams that you substituted in at the turn of the year. But they will only be awarded half the points. So if you moved Cheltenham Town into your team in the New Year you will receive 125pts instead of 250pts if you had started with them.

This is of course our final Manager of the Month of this season and it ended yesterday. So who is in the running for this month’s cash prizes.

Leading the way in April 2016 is Over The Rainbow who have so far scored 2,298pts. They are 25pts ahead of second placed Gigolo Hips and 62pts ahead of third placed Geoff Norfolk ‘D’. The top ten in the month of April is covered by 86pts so it is still quite wide open.

At the bottom of the Manager of the Month there is of course also money to be won. Bottom at the moment is Frickley 2nds with 1,083pts and they are only 16pts adrift from their nearest rival YTFC. The bottom five is covered by 62pts.

In next week’s update we will of course be naming our final Manager of the Month winners. Then the week after I will be run- ning my final substitution comparison of the season.
