Fantasy Non-League Update October 23

WELCOME to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2016/17. Today’s update covers the period Sunday 9th October 2016 through to Saturday 15th October 2016.

Last weekend saw our first set of FA Cup bonuses awarded as any of the teams that won their Fourth Qualifying tie and progressed to the First Round Proper were awarded 25 bonus points.

Those 25 points helped Spennymoor Town gain a massive 80pts over these past seven days. Those 80pts came about after a 7-0 home win against Skelmersdale Utd (27pts) and a 3-0 away win in the FA Cup 4th Qualifying round against Lincoln Utd (28pts plus 25 bonus points). I wonder how many of you have them in your team that is trying to finish bottom.

A quick reminder about a couple of extras I offer. First of all, the FNL Mini-Leagues, I have five running at the moment and it is not too late for you to enter one. If there are a group of you running your own competition within the main FNL league, please let me run it for you.

The Mini-Leagues are free and appear every other week on my own fantasy website. If you fancy this then please e-mail the FNL Helpdesk with a list of teams and a Min-League name.

The other thing I wanted to mention is my texting service. I know that properly 95 per cent of you have access to the internet which is the best way to follow FNL on the Non-League Paper website. But for those of you that don’t have access to the internet I can text you your score and position every two or three weeks.

However please note I am a one-man band so I can’t text hundreds of you so please only request this service if you don’t have any access to the internet at all. I have received a couple of texts via my home BT phone and I can’t understand them. So can you please re-text my mobile which is listed below.
