Fantasy Non-League Update January 29

WELCOME to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2016/17. Today’s update covers the seven-day period Sunday 15th January 2017 through to Saturday 21st January 2017. The Saturday that this update covers turned out to be our first weather dominated weekend with most of the games in the south being postponed because of freezing conditions.

Even as we make our way through this season’s Fantasy Non-League I am thinking about new things I can do for next season’s competition. Most of my ideas I keep under wraps until next season but there is one subject I would like to talk about and perhaps get your opinions on.

I have received a couple of e-mails through the FNL Helpdesk concerning the End of Season bonuses. Both these e-mails have requested that I drop the End of Season bonuses next season. I have spoken to a couple of people about this already and they have suggested not removing them completely but perhaps lowering them.

I am pleased to announce that all your substitutions have been implicated. You can tell that your changes have been made because you will have [S] after your team name. If you don’t have this after your team name and you have sent them in to me, please get in contact with the FNL Helpdesk. You only have until midnight on Tuesday 31st January 2017 to notify me, after that date no changes will be made.

At the end of this month, beginning of the next I will be running my first substitution comparison article. This is where you can see how you would have been doing if you hadn’t made those changes. So, did you make the right choices? Should I have left in that one and withdrew this one?
