THIS year's FNL officially comes to an end after today's Blue Square Bet North and South play-off matches with the final update for the season printed in next week's NLP.
With vital end-of-season bonuses still to be added, not least from the Evo-Stik Northern Leagues which were extended a week, there is still plenty of points and positions left to play for.
One thing which can be confirmed this week, however, is the winner of our final Manager of the Month award, for April. Our winner this month is Dynamo Keirv, who finished the month on 2,277pts – just three points ahead of second-placed Champions and 13 clear of The PA Players, in third, who just miss out on a cash prize.
The amazing thing about our winners this month was that they were lying as low as 12th going into the final Saturday (the 27th), only to then accumulate a massive 309 points in four days.
One of the main reasons for that was because they claimed four league leaders in the ‘Mixture League' – the most in any month this season of FNL.
