Solihull Moors handed huge blow as Richard Money resigns after just 26 days in charge

Richard Money has handed struggling National League side Solihull Moors a huge shock by resigning as the club's first team manager after just 26 days.
The former Luton manager was appointed Moors boss on October 5, but after just four league games and following discussions with the club's board, Money has decided to step down from his position.
In a statement on the club's website, Money said: “There are so many people at this club who have worked so hard to get it to the level it is playing at right now and it deserves to stay there.
“To do so it needs someone who can fully commit to the clubs future and unfortunately I am unable to do that right now.
“I wish everyone, board, players and supporters every success and thank them for their help, kindness and understanding.”
Money won just one of his four league games while at the Moors helm, masterminding an impressive win 2-1 at Eastleigh last week, but they were hammered 4-0 by AFC Fylde on Saturday.
Moors said in a statement: “We are disappointed that Richard's short time in charge has ended so soon and will commence the search for a replacement immediately.
“For Sunday's important Emirates F A Cup match at home to Wycombe Wanderers, Assistant Manager Gary Whild with take charge along with Coach, Keith Bertschin, and Director of Sport, Mark Fogarty.”
