Paul Holleran – Leamington
Only a point separated Leamington from the bottom three at the start of October. The Brakes had a superb month, with the highlights coming in an impressive victory at Salford City, as well as two draws against promotion chasers Harrogate Town and York City.
Having been promoted back into the division again this season, Leamington will be looking first and foremost at survival.
After claiming positive results against the top two sides, Paul Holleran's men will have confidence they can pick up points against anyone in the Vanarama National League North.

Michael Jacklin – Gainsborough Trinity
Trinity face a tough but winnable First Round match in the Emirates FA Cup this coming weekend, but are buoyed with a terrific run in October, lifting them out of the relegation zone in the Vanarama National League North.
Pivotal at both ends of the team during the month has been centre-back Michael Jacklin, who primarily is a lynch pin in the defence but has surprised many, including his manager, with three crucial goals from set pieces.
With spirits high in the Lincolnshire camp, could there be a cup run on the cards at Northolme?
