Gus Sow leaves Lewes for league rivals Merstham

have brought in midfielder Gus Sow from Bostik Premier rivals .
Sow played an instrumental part in the Rooks promotion from the Bostik South last season, making 42 appearances and finding the net on six occasions.
The 23-year-old came through the academy structure at Crystal Palace, spending loan stints at and Finnish side FC Honka.
After leaving the Eagles in 2015, Sow moved on to St Albans and before completing a transfer to Lewes in the summer of 2016.
After his departure was confirmed, the London based midfielder told Lewes fans, “I'm sorry to be going, but the travelling was just getting too much for me.
“I've loved it here, especially the promotion, and I wish Daz and the boys well.”
It is believed that Lewes have received a transfer fee from Mestham for the services of the Liberian born midfielder, however the exact fee has been left undisclosed.
