Watson looks ahead to eagerly anticipated local derby

York City Steve Watson

Gateshed manager Steve Watson is looking forward to his side’s eagerly anticipated FA Cup Fourth Qualifying match at local rivals Dunston UTS on Saturday.
The Heed will have a packed out away end for tomorrow’s visit to Step 5 Dunston, with Gateshed’s allocation of 500 tickets selling out in a matter of hours.
“It’s going to be an absolutely fantastic occasion and I am sure there will be a great atmosphere” said Watson.
He continued, “Dunston will go into the game full of confidence because they have been on a good run of late and they have nothing to lose.
“We are expecting them to start quickly and try to nick an early goal.
“We know that they have got a good team because we have done as much research for this game as we would for any league match but if we can keep calm and play to our potential then I am confident that we can get through.
“If we can reach the next round then we could land ourselves a plum draw like we did last year against Luton”.
