Frome Town FC call on supporters to help create the club’s new crest

are reaching out to their fans and providing them an opportunity to have an input into the clubs brand in time for next season.
The club was formed in 1904 and are one of the largest teams based in Somerset. They are looking to update their crest in line with their ambitious plans to be become one of the best semi-professional clubs in the country.
The club has already successfully introduced a community focused programme of events, under the name of “we are #ba11”, BA11 being the club's postcode. This has seen a number of higher profile events start to take place including a recent art installation painted by children from the local community.
The club affectionately known as the Robins, are keen to ensure that their heritage and history remain key to any developments, but are looking to bring the awareness of the club to new levels.
Gary Collinson Frome Town's Operations Director said: “As with all our activities, we are looking to our community to give people opportunities. We continue to help our fans engage with the club in ways that have never been possible before. We hope to spark an interest from our fanbase, and not just designers in the area. To celebrate this we will look to showcase as many entries as possible.”
Frome Town Chairman Jeremy Alderman added: “It's not about change for changes sake, our crest is something we are proud of. However, it's starting to look tired. Refining the crest will allow us to start to take advantage of new opportunities. From merchandising to attracting new partners, allowing the club to evolve and reach our off the field goals”.
