Despite running away with the Midland Premier League title last season, Bromsgrove Sporting endured somewhat of a chaotic campaign with former manager Paul Smith leaving the club just as the business end of the season approached.
Nevertheless under the guidance of new boss Brendan Kelly the ship was soon steadied and after promotion was secured last year, The Rouslers are currently sitting at the top of the Southern League Division One Central and the rookie manager is coy about his hopes for another successful campaign.
“I couldn't really have wished for a better start to be honest with you!” Kelly told The NLP.
“There is always room for improvement but we are all delighted with how things are going and its testament to the countless hours that everyone has put in on the training pitch.
“I sat down with the board over the summer and we set a few ambitions for this season. I don't really want to detail exactly what we hope to achieve but I can definitely say that we are on target so far.
