Christmas has come early for Cray Wanderers!
The Bostik League South East side have finally had plans approved by the Greater London Authority to build a new community stadium complex.
Planning permission was approved last month by Bromley Council, but Mayor of London Sadiq Kahn still needed to approve the application.
Cray have been homeless since 1973 and are in their 20th season of groundsharing at Bromley with their agreement ending in 18 months time.
The scheme will see a new home ground built, eight sporting pitches, purpose-built community facilities and 42 affordable housing units.
Delighted Cray chairman Gary Hillman received the news last night.
