Tuesday Teaser: Managers – Who am I?

How many can you name?

Tuesday Teaser:

How many of these Non-League managers can you name?
1. I made over 200 appearances as a player for Queens Park Rangers and picked up 21 caps for the Republic of Ireland.
After hanging up my boots after a long spell with Luton Town in 1998 I spent seven months as QPR manager in 2006.
I have since been promoted from the Conference and League Two as a manager.
2. I scored almost 100 career goals, whilst playing for the likes of Manchester City, Portsmouth and Oxford United.
Before taking up my current managerial job in Non-League I enjoyed coaching spells with Bournemouth and Porstmouth.
3. I have been in my current job since 2016 but this is my second spell as manager of this club.
I have previously managed in Scotland and have also taken charge of Port Vale and Peterborough United in the Football League.
4. I am what you could describe as a Step 2 expert.
In my career I have guided teams to first, second, third, fourth and fifth place finishes in the National League South and am managing at Step 2 level again this year.
5. I spent four years in charge of Farsley Celtic between 2003 and 2007.
I have since gone on to manage Port Vale, Bradford PA and Altrincham.
I am currently managing at Step 3 level.

  • This weather chaos is just so pointless

FANS’ FORUM LAST weekend saw the usual chaotic, and at times comical, approach to dealing with matches affected by poor weather.
