RELIEF TO GO BACK TO BASICS

HAVING had no games over Christmas, it’s been nice to be back out on the pitch.
We drew with Curzon Ashton on December 11 and the next time we played was January 8!
Going into the Brackley for our first game back wasn’t ideal to say the least. Then we played Gateshead last Saturday and came up with a gameplan that was very boring. The idea was to sit in, be solid and hit them on the break.
We had an opportunity before half-time where we went through on goal from the halfway line. We didn’t score, they did and you end up losing the game 2-0.
