YOU might think that a clash of local rivals, both vying for promotion honours, would have all the makings of a tasty affair – but not in the battle of East and West Sussex it doesn’t.
Yesterday’s Isthmian Premier Division game between play-off candidates Lewes and league leaders Worthing was dubbed as the biggest Non-League encounter in the county for many years with a bumper crowd of 2,347 clicking through the turnstiles at the Dripping Pan.
