THERE’S not much time to savour a promotion when you are a football manager – you can’t miss a beat when it comes to preparing for the new season.
I’m really guilty of not enjoying it enough. As a player, when we won the title at Ilkeston in my first management job, and now, I always look at what’s next and how we – or I – can be better.
