CHRIS Conn-Clarke doesn’t look like an athlete, but nor did Lee Tomlin. It didn’t stop him giving Vincent Kompany the fright of his life.
Back in 2015, Tomlin reduced the legendary Man City skipper to a training ground dummy at the Etihad with a virtuoso performance that inspired Middlesbrough to a famous 2-0 victory in the FA Cup.
Feints and dips, the deftest of turns. But for a millimetre of post, Tomlin would have scored the goal of the season.
