A MASSIVE congratulations to Andy Mitchell on his article on the jailing of Kieran Hughes-Mason (NLP, Sept 15).
I’ve read numerous articles regarding this abhorrent crime in national print, on leading media websites and even in the local media in Essex, and every single one of these articles refer to the player as an “ex-Millwall star”.
Hughes-Mason played two uneventful games for Millwall but had numerous clubs after his release from the club. Despite this, the cheap headlines always link him to our club’s name.
