FORMER Football League player Danny Hollands has been handed his first managerial role with Gosport Borough.
The 39-year-old has stepped up from a player/ coaching role to lead the Southern League Premier South play-offchasers following the departures of Joe Lea and Pat Suraci to Poole Town.
Hollands, the former Bournemouth, Charlton, Portsmouth and Eastleigh midfielder, will be assisted by the club’s current Football Operations manager Mark Summerhill.
