JACK STONE was the hat-trick hero as Southend cruised past Boreham Wood at Garon Park.
The Shrimpers flew out of the blocks and were in no mood to mess around as they target a top three finish in the NLFA South Division.
Stone put Danny Heath’s side two-up at the break before completing his treble in the second half after Alfie Humphrey had made it three.
