■ WHITCHURCH ALPORT stormed into the next round of the FA Cup with a 3-0victory over North West Counties League visitors Litherland REMYCA.
But they had to do it the hard way, scoring all three goals in the second period after Callum Knowles had been sent off.
It took until 15 minutes from the end until Alport opened the scoring through Ollie Holden. Five minutes later the visitors had a player sent off and the game was still in the balance with the 90 minutes up. Turner then doubled the lead and there was still time for Harry Farnsworth to add a third.
