MORISON BOOSTED BY £100k CUP LIFT FOR U’S

STEVE Morison says Sutton United’s success in last season’s National League Cup has helped the club progress in a multitude of ways.
The U’s plotted a route all the way to the final of the inaugural competition, eventually losing out 2-1 to Leeds United in front of over 3,000 fans at Gander Green Lane.
Morison’s side hosted West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion in the group stages before taking on Manchester United in the quarter-finals.
