HOW can Robbie Savage and Andy Peaks making a raft of substitutions in the very first minute of their National League Cup ties last week be good for the competition?
I get the reasons why organisers brought the ruling in, but punishing clubs for using the competition to blood in talented youngsters is not the way to drum up popularity when already a quarter of Non-League’s top-flight and their supporters have washed their hands of it.
