END OF AN ERA: Robert Briggs has left South Shields after 11 years at the 1st Cloud Arena

FANS’ favourite Robert Briggs, the most decorated player in South Shields’ history, has left the club after 11 years.
The 33-year-old is the only Mariners player ever to play, and score, for the club in five different leagues.
Since rejoining the club for a second spell as a teenager on 2015, Briggs has made a club record 457 appearances, scoring 92 goals, and winning four promotions, taking the Mariners from Northern League Division Two at Step 6...
