Boss Chris Cornes has urged Worcester City to make the most of mercurial talent Dan Sweeney after his stunner inspired a first success in plush new surroundings.
The much-travelled striker was drafted in during a busy summer in which the back-to-back promotion winners moved from the Worcestershire FA’s modest Claines Lane headquarters to the 12,000-capacity Sixways Stadium, shared home of English Championship rugby union side Worcester Warriors.
