Spitfires sack boss Todd

have parted company with manager Chris Todd after ten months in charge.

He guided the Hampshire club to 7th place in the last season, narrowly missing out on a playoff berth.

The Spitfires bolstered their ranks this summer with the signing of Sunderland youth player Mikael Mandron and recent acquisition Reda Johnson from League One Coventry City.

However, they lost 4-2 at home to Dover last night and following a conversation with the club, Todd was relieved of his duties.

In the club’s official statement, they thanked the outgoing boss for all his efforts as player and manager during his time at the Ten Acres.

They are on the search for a replacement and are hoping to have someone in charge prior to their match this Saturday against .
