MANAGER IAN Long was frank in his assessment of Stourbridge’s performance as they earned an FA Cup first round tie against Eastleigh with a midweek replay win over Whitby Town.
The Glassboys came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 and reach the first round of the competition for the sixth time in the past 11 seasons. “It wasn’t great but we got the job done,” Long told The NLP.
“We seem nervous at the minute. We’re not performing at home as we should be but it showed a lot of character to come from 2-0 down.”
