NORTHERN Premier Division side Warrington Town edged their way into the next round following a hard-fought win at Kendal.
Warrington created a number of early half chances, with Luke Griffiths seeing his free-kick pushed away by Sam Waller in the home goal.
Mitch Duggan had a header cleared off the line by Louis Jeanne, while Griffiths forced a comfortable save out of Waller.
Kendal’s best moment fell on the stroke of half time after Chris Humphrey got behind the visiting defence before Dan Atherton made a good save.
