EX-TRAFFORD fullback Ally Brown returned to  haunt his former club with a 46th-minute winner against the lacklustre hosts.
Linnets took the lead in the 14th minute when Jamie Rainford volleyed home.
Visiting keeper Danny Taberner produced a fine save to push Rob Worrall’s drive past the upright, but Trafford were stunned when Brown made it two immediately after halftime, smashing the ball home at the back post.
