BOYES IS AT IT AGAIN AS SEASIDERS SINK LINNETS

MARSKE progressed to the next round of the FA Cup despite being pushed all the way by Runcorn Linnets.
Marske looked firmly in control in the first half and took the lead in the 13th minute when last season’s top scorer in the competition, Adam Boyes’ hooked home a volley after Linnets failed to clear a corner.
The lead was doubled four minutes later when defender Sam Heathcote attempted to head the ball back to keeper Danny Taberner but got it all wrong, sending the ball sailing over his head and into the empty net.
