Tasty Greens race through the gate

HENDON eased their way through with a first half blitz and second half stroll against near neighbours Wingate & Finchley.
The Greens had three good scoring opportunities in the seventh minute. Arthur Irontton’s goalbound shot was blocked by Dernell Wynter, Liam Brooks was denied by an excellent Ben Goode save and Dave Diedhiou almost connected with a cross.
Diedhiou would not be denied after 14 minutes, losing his marker and heading home from a Rhodell Gordon corner.
