■ STONEHAM produced a remarkable comeback to dump out higher level opposition, despite falling 4-1 down early in the second half.
Dan Rowe gave ’Stoke the lead after a quarter of an hour and an own and George Reid had the visitors 3-0 up in the first half.
A controversial penalty was converted by Liam Callaghan before the break but Rowe’s second seemingly had Basingstoke in control two minutes into the second half. Alex Welch found an immediate response to cut the deficit and Duarte Martins made it 4-3.
