Paxman pen keeps Wings in the cup

JACK Paxman’s late penalty meant that Welling United and Slough Town will have to meet again to determine who will qualify for the next round.
There was little between the two teams in the first half. Both created opportunities but didn’t make the most of them, either due to failing to hit the target or because of wayward final passes.
Ruben Shakpoke came closest for the Wings when out-muscling the Rebels’ player-manager and cutting in from the left and his shot from a tight angle came back out off the near post.
