HALESOWEN TOWN and Aveley must replay on Monday evening after both defences reigned supreme in a stalemate.
Aveley’s Suleyman Zuhdu was put clear on goal in the seventh minute but Jak Hickman and goalkeeper Dan Platt did just enough to recover for the Yeltz. A minute later Charlie Wragg’s cross was turned away for a Halesowen corner and McKauley Manning’s lob fell wide after Aveley goalkeeper Joe Wright punched clear. Otherwise there was little first-half action with neither keeper troubled.
