Steve Pitt knew exactly who Braintree Town had drawn in the FA Cup first round when his phone started buzzing – and he says the Iron must be focused when they make the short trip to Chelmsford City.
TNT Sports’ cameras will be in town for the lunchtime kick-off between the Essex rivals.
Their last meeting was the National League South play-off semi-final in 2024 when Braintree – then managed by current Chelmsford boss Angelo Harrop – won a 3-2 thriller in extra time.
