It’s a huge financial boost for the Silkmen, who also bank vital funds with the prize money for their cup run so far.

Macc defeated Slough Town in the previous round thanks to James Edmondson’s stunning extra-time strike in a 3-1 at Arbour Park.

Their reward is a glamour tie against the Eagles, who beat Manchester City in last year’s final to lift the FA Cup.

The game will be shown live on BBC One, TNT Sports 1 and discovery+, with kick-off confirmed for 12.15pm on Saturday 10 January 2026.

How much do Non-League clubs earn from live broadcasts?

Third Round Proper winners will earn £121,500 from the FA prize fund, while the losing side collects £26,500. Macclesfield will also benefit from an £80,000 broadcast fee.

Weston-super-Mare face a trip to League Two outfit Grimsby Town after they defeated Chelmsford City in the second round.

Boreham Wood have also advanced to this stage of the competition after they cruised past Newport County in a 3-0 victory – and Luke Garrard’s side will face Burton Albion in the third round.
