ADAM Jones headed home an 85th-minute winner for the battling Hillmen.
Jude Oyibo gave Glossop the lead, but having been given a half-time talking too Matlock hit back shortly after the break, Michael Williams curling into the top corner from outside the box.
Shaun Harrad then saw his penalty saved by Paul Phillips but netted the rebound. But plucky Glossop levelled with 15 minutes left when Oyibo nodded in at the back post.
But Jones’ intervention means it’s Glossop in the draw on Monday.
