A SCOTTAllison double was enough to give Workington their second away victory of the season.
The Reds hitman struck in the ninth and 24th minute, the first a fine drilled finish and the second from the spot when Danny Brady upended Conor Tinnion. Celtic keeper Jake Turner guessed right but the shot carried too much power.
Chris Sharp had equalised for the hosts on 16 minutes when he took advantage of a mix up, but Celtic offered little else save for a looping Michael Clarke header.
