STEVE KITTRICK has seen many crazy days in football but Matlock Town’s FA Trophy classic with Chorley may just be up there with the best.
The BetVictor Northern Premier League club managed to sink their top-tier opposition 4-3 on penalties after a replay in the most bizarre circumstances.
They had led Chorley 2-0 last weekend yet were pegged back and forced to do it all again at Victory Park on Tuesday night, when just about everything seemed to be going wrong.
