BOSS Dan Langdon guided Bitton to the FA Vase quarter-finals for the first time in club history before labelling victory over Sutton Common Rovers as “surreal”.
A goal in each half from striker Josh Egan, including a stunning free-kick, proved enough with Adam Allen’s late effort only a consolation for Sutton. Bitton reached the last 16 in 2004 and 2009, losing to Colne and Glossop North End, respectively.
