■ WINGATE & Finchley sailed through to the next round of the Trophy with a comfortable win over VCD Athletic.
The game started with a touching tribute to Billy Vigar – then at the end of a tight first half Ryan Lowe opened the scoring finishing to the bottom right corner from 12 yards.
On the stroke of half time Kyron Horsley-McKay headed against the crossbar, and Courtney Barrington levelled one minute after the break with a curling shot.
The Blues retook the lead five minutes later with Camilo Restrepo drilling through the keeper.
