JACK Foalle grabbed a hat-trick as four-time FA Vase winners Whitley Bay romped into the next round.
Olly Martin, Stephen Ramsey and Kieran Brannen were also on target, but the result slightly flattered the Bay.
The Seahorses, who lifted the trophy three years in a row between 2009 and 2011, almost fell behind early on as Esh debutant Luke Wilson’s volley hit the post.
The Stags then went close again on the half hour as Nicky Marley forced goalkeeper Liam Powell into action.
