BITTON had the frame of the goal to thank after they edged out plucky Cribbs to reach the last 32 of the FA Vase at the WDS Stadium.
Cribbs’s George Kellow rattled the bar with a free-kick in second-half stoppage time in this all-Western League Premier Division clash which the hosts should have put to bed long before.
Bitton were ahead inside a quarter of an hour. Gerard Robinson’s ball down the right flank curved into the path of Josh Egan and the frontman steered low into the far corner.
