GOALKEEPER Jack Atkinson was Bury AFC’s hero, saving two penalties in a nail-biting shoot-out, with Kris Holt drilling home the winning kick to send the Shakers through.
It was Jed McGowan who had put Maltby Main in the driving seat in normal time, when he slid in at the far post to steer Jamie Austin’s 28th-minute cross into the net.
