PINCHBECK United caretaker boss Alfie Tate, the youngest manager in the 149-year history of the FA Cup, is hoping to get the job on a permanent basis.
Tate, who was 20 years and 79 days old when the United Counties Premier side lost 4-0 to St Neots Town in the extra preliminary round, has been at the helm since Ian Dunn quit on the eve of the season.
Pinchbeck earned their first point of the season in a 1-1 home draw against Peterborough Northern Star. on Wednesday.
