Isthmian League Northwood are looking for a new manager after parting company with Scott Dash.
Dash, pictured, stood down on Wednesday in the wake of his side’s 8-2 thrashing the night before at Chertsey Town.
Northwood were also hammered 6-1 at home by Waltham Abbey in the Isthmian League’s South Central Division on Saturday.
The former Leverstock Green boss was appointed in December 2018 as the successor to Dean Barker following a successful spell as caretaker.
He steered Woods to a tenth placed finish last term but had secured a single league victory this season.
A Wycombe Wanderers youth player, Dash also played for Hayes, Beaconsfield and Hillingdon Borough. A knee injury forced his early retirement aged just 23.
Northwood chairman Ian Barry thanked Dash for his services in a statement on the club’s website inviting potential successors to apply for the vacant post.
“The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Scott for his hard work since taking over last year. We wish him the very best in the future,” said Barry.
“The process of appointing a new manager begins now and a further statement will be released in due course.”
Northwood travel to Uxbridge this weekend in the FA Trophy’s preliminary round.
