Westfield FC will have a new management team at the helm when football returns after the coronavirus following the resignation of Tony Reid and his number two Martyn Lee.
Reid's departure from the Isthmian League South Central Division club's Woking Park after a five year reign was announced on Wednesday in a club statement paying tribute to his success and Lee's aid.
After arriving in 2015 and steering the Yellas clear of relegation from the Combined Counties Premier Division, Reid guided the club to a second-placed league finish and league cup success before winning promotion to Step 4 in 2018 for the first time in the club's 75 year history as runaway champions.
Lee, pictured alongside Reid, replaced Louis Carder-Walcot as assistant manager following promotion to the Isthmian League. After reaching the play-off final last season, they were in fifth spot and on course again for a promotion shot when the season was brought to an abrupt end by the public health crisis in March.

The Yellas said: “On behalf of Westfield FC, chairman Steve Perkins, the committee, supporters, sponsors and players would like to say a big thank you for the total commitment and professionalism Tony and his management team have brought to the club over the past five memorable and exciting years, and wish him every success on the next stage of his football management journey!”
Reid told the club's website: “Following recent telephone discussions with the club chairman, I have reluctantly decided with a heavy heart that now is the right time for me to stand down as the Westfield FC first team manager with immediate effect.
“I have not taken this decision lightly and it was based on where the club are at in this present time, and my own personal ambitions to fulfil my career at as high level as possible as a successful manager. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Westfield and I strongly believe that the success l have achieved over the past few season has left the club in a much stronger position from when I arrived.
“I would like to thank the players, staff, committee, sponsors and the supporters but most of all Steve Perkins for always giving me their total support during my time with the club. I leave behind some fantastic memories and I wish everyone at Westfield FC continued success in the future. Go on the Yellows!!!”
