WHYTELEAFE scored more penalty kicks in normal time than they managed in their shoot out as the upsets didn’t relent in midweek.
Southern Counties League side Erith Town progressed on Wednesday night at the expense of the Bostik League South club.
Both teams were awarded – and scored – two penalties each as the game ended 3-3.
So it went to spot kicks to decide the tie and Erith kept their nerve to win 4-1 from 12 yards as Leafe fell on Wednesday.
But the result of the 2017-18 competition to date arguably came 24 hours earlier.
