MUCH LOVED: Thalassitis

NON-LEAGUE football has paid tribute to former Boreham Wood, Ebbsfleet United, Chelmsford City and Margate striker Mike Thalassitis, who was found dead near his Essex home on Friday.
The 26-year-old also had spells with Hayes & Yeading, Bishop’s Stortford, Concord Rangers, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and Welling United.
A Cyprus U21 international, he left Margate in 2017 to appear on ITV programme Love Island, which launched a reality TV career.
